甘肃农业大学坐落在兰州市安宁区，地处规划中的兰州市新城中心。前身是1946年10月创建于兰州的国立兽医学院，学校占地165万平方米，建筑面积66万平方米。现设有23个学院（教学部），66个本科专业，拥有食品科学与工程等6个国家级一流本科专业，动物医学等5个国家级特色专业，生物技术等9个省级一流本科专业；1个国家级重点学科（草业科学），1个农业部重点学科和18个省级重点学科。4个博士后科研流动站，8个一级学科博士学位授权点，1个交叉学科博士学位授权点，1个专业博士学位授权类别，19个一级学科硕士学位授权点，9个专业学位授权类别。有国家重点实验室1个，国家级实验教学示范中心1个，省级实验教学示范中心13个，省部共建和省级重点实验室、工程实验室以及各类研究中心（基地）48个。目前，全校承担国家重点研发计划、国家自然（社会）科学基金等国家级项目300多项，在草业科学、动植物育种、旱作农业、设施农业、循环农业、节水农业、动物健康养殖、生物技术、农产品加工等方面取得了一批重大的研究成果。
学校有教职工1530人，其中专任教师1226人，有高级职称人员647人。现有普通本科在校生17137人，硕士研究生2993人，博士研究生513人，国际学生100余人。
学校重视国际交流与合作，实施国际化发展战略。先后与美国、英国、澳大利亚、秘鲁、加纳、日本等20多个国家的60多所大学和科研机构保持着学生联合培养、学术交流和科研合作关系，设有校派访问学者项目、学生赴美双学位项目、留学甘农校长奖学金等项目，学校国际交流日趋活跃，国际化程度不断提高。

甘肃农业大学 2023 年春季国际学生招生工作现已开始，现将具体事宜公布如下：
一、招生类别和名额
学历生：博士研究生（15 人）、硕士研究生（5 人）
二、招生学科和专业
我校具有博士、硕士学位授予权的学科专业均招收国际学生接受学历教育。详见甘肃农业大学国际学生招生专业目录（附件 1）。
三、学习方式和学习年限
1. 攻读学位的国际学生学习方式为全日制。
我校实行双学期制，第一个学期九月至一月，第二个学期二月至七月。2023年3月-7月为汉语学习及硕博士预科学习，2023年9月开始专业阶段的学习。
2. 硕士生学制为 3 年，最长学制不超过5年；博士生为 4 年，最长学制不超过6年。
四、汉语要求
申请2023年春季入学的学生须有一定的汉语基础，在开始专业课学习前须取得相应级别的HSK等级证书。
攻读学位的硕士研究生专业课学习（2023年9月）前须具有 HSK 等级证书，为新四级 200 分。
攻读学位的博士研究生、专业课学习（2023年9月）前须具有HSK 等级证书，为新三级 180 分。
五、申请资格
1. 申请人须为非中国籍公民，目前在中国境内，持有效外国护照，身体健康，品行端正， 遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度。
2. 申请人的学历和年龄要求：
攻读硕士学位者，必须本科毕业或具有同等学历，年龄不超过 36 周岁；
攻读博士学位者，必须硕士毕业或具有同等学历，年龄不超过 42 周岁。
六、提交申请材料
所有申请人需在“甘肃农业大学国际学生服务平台” https://gsau.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx 注册填报申请信息，并上传相应申请材料，包括：
1. 最高学历证明（需公证）及成绩单；
2. 推荐信：两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写；
3. 汉语或英语水平证明： HSK 考试成绩单或其它汉语学习证明、托福或雅思证书或其他英语水平证明；
4. 在职或在校证明：申请人如果是在校学生或在职工作，需提交本人就读学校或工作单位出具的在学证明或在职证明；
5. 来华学习或研究计划；
6. 外国人体格检查记录：所在地出入境检验检疫局出具的外国人体格检查表。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查记录》中要求的项目进行检查，体检表过期、缺项、未贴本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师或医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查记录》无效；
7. 当地所在派出所出具的无犯罪记录证明；
8. 经济担保（如：银行存款证明）；
9. 奖学金申请表：如申请奖学金须填写，请下载附件2填写后上传（不提交者视为申请自费生）。
七、申请截止时间
申请者请于 2022 年 12 月 25日前通过网上系统提交材料。
八、入学资格及时间
我校根据国际学生的基本情况、申请专业师资情况、导师意见和学校意见择优录取，审核通过后，将向申请者寄发给录取学生《录取通知书》和 JW202 表。
开学时间：2023年3月；学生必须持录取通知书按期到校报到。未履行延期手续，超过报到时间 15天者，取消入学资格。
九、费用

2. 甘肃农业大学校长奖学金
2023年，我校为品学兼优的硕、博士国际学生提供“甘肃农业大学校长奖学金”，博士国际学生优先录取。
奖学金包括：
汉语补习及预科阶段：免3月-7月汉语补习学费；提供 1000 元/月生活补助（按实际报到入学时间计算，共计不超过5个月）；
博士专业学习阶段：免学费及住宿费（4 年），提供 1000 元/月生活补助（提供 3 年，每年共 10 个月，寒暑假除外）。
硕士专业学习阶段：免学费及住宿费（3 年），并提供 1000 元/月生活补助（共 10 个月，寒暑假除外）。
其它费用如注册费、体检费、书本费、保险费、生活费、杂费等自理。

Admission Notice of Gansu Agricultural University for International Students
（Spring 2023）
Gansu Agricultural University (GAU) is located on the picturesque Yellow River bank in Anning District of Lanzhou. Its predecessor was the national veterinary college founded in Lanzhou in October 1946, covering an area of 1.65 million square meters and a building area of 660000 square meters.
At present, there are 23 colleges (teaching departments), 66 undergraduate majors, 6 national first-class undergraduate majors such as food science and engineering, 5 national characteristic majors such as animal medicine, and 9 provincial first-class undergraduate majors such as biotechnology; One national key discipline (Grassland Science), one Ministry of agriculture key discipline and 18 provincial key disciplines. There are 4 post-doctoral research mobile stations, 8 first-class discipline doctoral degree authorization points, 1 interdisciplinary doctoral degree authorization point, 1 professional doctoral degree authorization category, 19 first-class discipline master degree authorization points, and 9 professional degree authorization categories. There are 1 national key laboratory training base, 1 national experimental teaching demonstration center, 13 provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers, 48 provincial key laboratories, engineering laboratories and various research centers.
The school has 1530 teaching staff, including 1226 full-time teachers and 647 personnel with senior titles. At present, there are 17137 undergraduate students, 2993 master's students, 513 doctoral students and more than 100 international students.
The University attaches great importance to international exchange and cooperation, and maintains academic exchange relations with more than 60 universities and scientific research institutions in 20 countries, including the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Russia, Japan and Egypt. Scholars from both sides visit each other, conduct scientific research cooperation and send teachers and students to study abroad.

The recruitment of international students in the Spring of 2023 has started. The details are as follows:
1. Enrollment Category and Quota
Degree candidates: 15 doctoral candidates and 5 master candidates.
2. Disciplines and Majors
GAU has the right to confer doctoral and master's degrees, and all disciplines and majors recruit international students to receive academic education. For details, please refer to the major catalog of international student enrollment of Gansu Agricultural University (Annex 1).
3. Mode and Length of Study
Mode: Full-time (Two semesters: September to January, March to June) Length of Study: Master’s Degree: 3 years; Doctoral Degree: 4 years
4. Chinese Language Requirements
Applicants should have the basic knowledge of Chinese, and provide relevant Chinese certificate or study certificates. From March to July 2023, Chinese language Study.
An effective HSK certificate (level 4, mark 200) is required for an applicant for the Master Degree program. An effective HSK certificate (level 3, mark 180) is required for an applicant for the PhD program.
5. Eligibility
The applicant must be non-Chinese holding a valid passport, be in good health and have no criminal record, will observe all the laws of China as well as the rules and regulations of GAU. For the International students who is in China.
Educational background and age requirements of the applicant:
Applicants for Master Degree studies must finish a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent and aged under 36.
Applicants for Doctoral Degree studies must finish a Master’s Degree or its equivalent and aged under 42.
6. Application Materials
Certificate of Chinese or English proficiency: for majors taught in Chinese, HSK test transcripts or other Chinese learning certificates are required; For majors taught in English, please provide TOEFL or IELTS certificate, or other English proficiency certificate;
Physical examination record of foreigners: the physical examination form of foreigners issued by local entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau. Applicant shall carry out the examination in strict accordance with the items required in the record of physical examination for foreigners. Incomplete records, forms without the attending physician’s signature, official stamp of the hospital, or a photograph of the applicants are invalid;
7. Application Deadline:
Applicants are requested to submit materials before December 25, 2022
8. Approval and Enrollment:
GAU will organize a committee to review all the application materials, make the decision whether to admit the applicants. The names of matriculated applicants will be published and matriculated applicants will receive Admission Notice of GAU and Visa Application for Study in China (i.e.: JW202 Form) for “X1” visa application in the Chinese embassy. All the International students matriculated in GAU are responsible for their visa application on their own.
Opening time: March 2023; Students must report to the University on time with the letter of admission. Those who fail to fulfill the extension procedures and report for more than 15 days will be disqualified.
9. Fees
For self-funded students, please refer to the charging standard for international students of Gansu Agricultural University (Annex 3)
GAU sets the GAU President Scholarship for Mater and Doctoral (priority) applicants which includes:
Chinese language Study: free tuition and accommodation (from March to July); and provide 1000 yuan / month living allowance (5 months).
Doctoral professional study stage: free tuition and accommodation (4 years); and provide 1000 yuan / month living allowance (a total of 10 months, except winter and summer vacation,3 years).
Master professional study stage: free tuition and accommodation (3 years), and provide 1000 yuan / month living allowance (a total of 10 months, except winter and summer vacation, 3 years).
Other expenses, e.g., registration fee, physical exam fee, book fee, insurance fee and other expense will be afforded by students.
